- This month we managed to get out and do a stall on about 8 times; we shifted 194 copies of 'The Socialist'!
- We had a couple of good political discussions covering the 'NHS', the 'Spanish Civil War' and 'Chomsky and Herman's Propaganda Model of the Mass Media and Murdoch'
- The Spanish Civil war themed social was a really good day. A small group of us had the fortune of listening to Joan Brown telling us the stories of Rotherham people who had gone to fight Fascism. Also had a few songs from a cracking folk musician (name to follow!)
- Took part in numerous Rotherham Against the Cuts activities and meetings.
- Members attended a Regional educational weekend in Leeds on the Spanish Civil War/Revolution.
- Started preliminary planning for our participation in the Jarrow March
- A monthly branch newsletter is being planned... watch this space...
